Harry Craddock was an English bartender who worked in The United States before prohibition and, returning to England during prohibition, became one of the most well-known bartenders of prohibition era and founder of The United Kingdom Bartenders' Guild. Craddock originally compiled this timeless book of popular drink recipes in 1930, featuring a collection of 750 cocktail recipes, some of whick were his own concoctions. Everything from Rickeys, Dasies, Slings, Shrubs, Smashes, Fizzes, Juleps, Cobblers are featured, along with a section on wines, all richly decorated by colorful art deco illustrations by Gilbert Rumbold. The Savoy Cocktail Book went on to be one of the most popular cocktail books of the 20th century. This New and Enlarged 2nd edition from 1934 in very good condition.

Edges of spine and boars with wear. 287 clean pages. Slight lean to book, but the text block is tight. A very good early edition of this popular title.
